hivein for Saleor
One place to ask about Saleor orders, channel pricing and warehouse stock without writing GraphQL.
hivein will authenticate as a Saleor app with a permission-scoped token and send typed queries and mutations to your single GraphQL endpoint.
- Query orders as GraphQL, answer as English
- Answer per channel, not per store
- Trace stock to a warehouse
- Audit vouchers and their usage
- Look at checkouts before they become orders
What the Saleor connector will do.
Query orders as GraphQL, answer as English
The query will be composed for you, the cursor pagination walked to the end, and order lines, payment status and fulfillments read back, so you never assemble a selection set by hand.
Answer per channel, not per store
Price, currency and published state live on channel listings in Saleor. Those listings will be read per channel, so what a variant costs in each one, and where it is not published at all, is a plain answer.
Trace stock to a warehouse
Read stock and allocations per warehouse, and the shipping zones each warehouse serves, to explain why an order could not be allocated.
Audit vouchers and their usage
List vouchers with their codes, discount value, per-channel configuration, usage limits and how many times they have been redeemed.
Look at checkouts before they become orders
Inspect open checkouts, their lines and the shipping methods available to them, to see where customers stop short of paying.
It will read your Saleor data model, not a generic one.
The schema is read first, so a question that spans two of these is one question, not two lookups.
“Which orders in the UK channel are unfulfilled and older than three days”
“What does the espresso grinder cost in each channel and where is it still unpublished”
“How much stock of SKU CFT-204 is in the Rotterdam warehouse right now”
“List the vouchers expiring this month and how many times each has been used”
Saleor questions.
Saleor has no REST API. Does that make the integration harder?
It makes it cleaner. Saleor's schema is introspectable, so the connector will check which fields and mutations your version exposes before asking for them, rather than guessing at endpoint shapes.
How does it handle a multi-channel setup?
Channel is treated as part of the question, not an afterthought. If you ask about price or availability without naming a channel, hivein will either use your default channel or ask which one you mean.
Does it work with Saleor Cloud and self-hosted Saleor?
Both are planned, since the API surface is the same GraphQL endpoint in either case. The difference is only where the endpoint lives and how the app token is issued.
