hivein for Ghost
Draft posts, check newsletter sends and read member growth in one conversation with your Ghost site.
hivein will sign short-lived JWTs from a Ghost integration's Admin API key, and use the read-only Content API key for published content.

What the Ghost connector will do.
Draft, schedule and update posts
Create a post from HTML or plain text with its tags, authors, excerpt and feature image, and move it between draft, scheduled and published without leaving the conversation.
Handle the newsletter side, not just the blog
Ghost sends posts as email. Which newsletter a post is attached to, the member segment it went to, and the delivered count on the email record will all be readable.
Answer questions about members
Look up members by email or label, see their tier, subscription status and sign-up date, and count how the list has grown over a period.
Work with tiers and offers
Read paid tiers with their monthly and yearly prices, and the offers that discount them, so pricing questions come from your site rather than a spreadsheet.
Filter the way Ghost does
Ghost has its own NQL filter syntax over posts, members and tags. The filter will be written for you, including internal tags that organise content without showing on the site.
It will read your Ghost data model, not a generic one.
The schema is read first, so a question that spans two of these is one question, not two lookups.
“Draft a post announcing the new tier and schedule it to go to paid members on Tuesday morning”
“How many members signed up in the last 30 days and how many of them are paying”
“Which posts went out as newsletters last month and how many members did each one reach”
“Tag everything in the migration series with an internal tag so it stays out of the public archive”
Ghost questions.
Does this work with Ghost(Pro) and self-hosted Ghost?
Both. The Admin API is the same in either case, and the connection is made through a custom integration you create in your Ghost settings, which gives you an Admin API key and a Content API key.
Can it publish or email members without me approving it?
No. Publishing a post and sending an email are actions with real consequences, so they are confirmed before they run. Drafting, tagging and reading are the parts that happen freely.
What member data does it read?
Only what the Admin API returns for the questions you ask, such as email, labels, tier and subscription status. Nothing is copied into a separate marketing list, and member records stay in Ghost.
