hivein for WordPress
Your editorial queue, taxonomy, comments and media library, answered from the WordPress site itself.
Application passwords sent as HTTP Basic auth against the core WordPress REST API at /wp-json/wp/v2.

Your WordPress, as actions the copilot can take.
Work the editorial queue
Read posts and pages by status, author and date, including drafts, pending review and scheduled items. Create a draft or set a future publish date without leaving the conversation.
Keep taxonomy under control
List categories and tags with their post counts, follow the parent hierarchy that categories carry and tags do not, spot near-duplicates, and reassign a post's terms.
Moderate comments
Pull comments filtered by status such as hold, approve or spam, see which post each one sits on, and move a comment between states.
Audit the media library
List media items with their MIME type, upload date, alt text and attached post, so unattached files and missing alt text stop hiding.
Trace what changed
Read post revisions and their authors to see how a piece of copy reached its current wording and who last touched it.
It reads your WordPress data model, not a generic one.
The schema is read first, so a question that spans two of these is one question, not two lookups.
“Which posts published in the last quarter have no featured image?”
“Show me drafts older than 60 days and who wrote each one”
“Which tags are used on fewer than three posts?”
“How many comments are sitting in moderation, and on which posts?”
Writes to WordPress wait for you.
The same three guardrails hold on every template. They are attached to the action itself, so they hold on every path. Watch the replay →
- 01
The plan is held
A plan that writes to a real system stops before it starts. You see the goal, the risk and every step, then confirm or reject.
- 02
Each write asks first
A tool marked ask-first shows the exact call with its values. Confirm it, edit the values, or reject it. Nothing runs until you decide.
- 03
A rejection is an instruction
Pick a reason and add a line. The copilot re-plans with what you told it instead of guessing.
WordPress questions.
Does this need a plugin installed?
No. The wp/v2 REST API has shipped in WordPress core since 4.7, and application passwords since 5.6. You generate an application password on a user profile and hivein uses that.
How is access limited?
Everything runs as the WordPress user the application password belongs to, so that user's role and capabilities are the ceiling. Issue the password on an account with only the role you want the assistant to have.
What about multisite?
Each site in a network has its own REST root and its own content, and roles are granted per site even though accounts are shared across the network, so every site is connected separately. Network-wide questions are answered by joining across the sites you have connected.
